What does it take to write a great Australian play?
Based on the methodologies of US playwright Paula Vogel, this workshop encourages writers to connect with other playwrights and WRITE. The plays will respond to a classic Australian play, extracting its essential ‘ingredients’ and using them to write your own delicious masterpiece.
Day One - A freewheeling day of exercises to get the creative juices flowing and serving you the ingredients to re-imagine however you see fit. Then you’ll head home to write a whole new play overnight.
Day Two - We reconvene to celebrate and read our freshly cooked first drafts together!
